About this Company:
thinkTREE Architects and Partners is an architectural firm that was established in 2012 by Kangsoo Lee and Joohyung Kang. Both Lee and Kang studied at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University in Boston. Prior to starting their own firm, Lee worked for an internationally renowned architectural firm in New York and Seoul, while Kang gained over ten years of experience in a well-known architectural firm in Seoul. Recently, Jaehee Jung, a professor from the School of Architectural Engineering at Hongik University, has joined the practice. The firm consists of a team of architects and engineers who work on a wide range of projects, including private assignments, public projects such as community facilities, housing, commercial buildings, research, and interior projects. One unique aspect of their design portfolio is their expertise in working with freight containers, with several container architecture projects currently under construction and set to be completed by the summer of 2015.
