About this Company:
studio_GAON is an architectural firm founded by Hyoung-nam Lim and Eun-joo Roh in 1999. Hyoung-nam Lim graduated from Hongik College of Architecture and has taught at various institutions including Hongik University and Architecture Academy for all. He has also participated in exhibitions such as ‘SALUBIA Time capsule’ and ‘Cries and Whispers’. Eun-joo Roh, on the other hand, graduated from Hongik College of Architecture and Graduate School of Architecture. She is a teacher at Hongik University and has been a panelist on a TV program about architecture. She has also written for several journals.
Together, Lim and Roh have co-authored several books including ‘Happy Meeting of Client and Architect’ (2006), ‘Seoul sketchbook’ (2009), ‘A house built of story’ (2010), ‘The House grows like a tree’ (2011), ‘Universe for simple house’ (2011), and ‘A house that revived dweller’ (2013).
