Jo?o Escaleira Amaral:
Jo?o Escaleira Amaral graduated with a degree in architecture from the Lisbon University School of Architecture in 2006. During his studies, he also attended the University La Sapienza in Rome in 2004, where he achieved a merit classification. In 2011, he completed a Master of Advanced Studies in Urban Design at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, for which he received a scholarship from the Foundation for Architecture Geisendorf. He has worked professionally with offices such as Intergaup and Artest?vel in Portugal, as well as SVP – Architectuur en Stedenbouw in Holland. In 2011, he founded est?dio AMATAM.
Manuela Tamborino:
Manuela Tamborino graduated in Architecture from the Lisbon University School of Architecture in 2006. She furthered her studies by obtaining a Master of Advanced Studies in Urban Design at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in 2011, with a scholarship from the Swiss Federal Government. She worked at the architecture office Saraiva+Associados until 2010 before starting est?dio AMATAM in 2011.
